RAPID CITY, S.D. — The South Dakota FFA Foundation has named Tracy Kaltvedt as its new executive assistant, succeeding Gretchen Sharp, who retired after 24 years of service.
Kaltvedt, a 1997-98 South Dakota FFA state sentinel, brings a background in project management, operations, process improvement and data security. She has also been a longtime supporter of the organization, including years spent judging the state parliamentary procedure event.
In her new role, Kaltvedt will provide administrative, financial and fundraising support for the foundation. She will also help strengthen its programs aimed at agricultural education and youth leadership development across South Dakota.
The foundation has also announced a new mailing address: P.O. Box 1500, Rapid City, SD 57709.
Founded to support agricultural education, the South Dakota FFA Foundation offers programs, awards, scholarships and grants to FFA members statewide. More information is available at www.sdffafoundation.org.
