Natural Grocers is opening a new store in Rapid City on July 22, with Elevate Rapid City hosting a ribbon cutting to mark the occasion.
The new store is located at 855 Omaha St., Suite 300. Pre-opening festivities begin at 8 a.m., with a check presentation from Feeding South Dakota, welcomes from Elevate Rapid City and city leaders, and a ribbon cutting by store managers at 8:25 a.m. Doors open to the public at 8:27 a.m.
Natural Grocers, based in Colorado and operating as Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets, was named 2025 Retailer of the Year by Store Brands and received a 2025 Sustainability in the Food Industry award from The Shelby Report.
The opening adds a new grocery option to the Rapid City retail market and continues a string of new business openings tracked by Elevate Rapid City this summer.
Shoppers can visit the new Rapid City location starting July 22 at 855 Omaha St.
