RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City location of On The Border will remain open despite the closure of several restaurants across the country scheduled for June 12.
The closures affect only company-owned restaurants operated by OTB Hospitality. The Rapid City restaurant is independently owned and operated and is not impacted by the changes.
“We want to reassure our guests that our doors remain open and we look forward to continuing to serve the Rapid City community,” said Bryant Morrison, owner of the Rapid City On The Border location. “We are grateful for the support we’ve received over the years and are excited to welcome guests for the great food and hospitality they know and love.”
The announcement comes as customers across the country have expressed concerns about the future of the restaurant chain following news of the company-owned location closures.
The Rapid City restaurant will continue normal business operations and remains committed to serving customers throughout the Black Hills region.
Restaurant officials encouraged guests to visit and enjoy their favorite menu items, emphasizing that no operational changes are planned for the Rapid City location.
