RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Rapid City family is marking a new chapter in business ownership with a weeklong celebration and fundraiser in the Black Hills.
Kyle and Brittany Fisher officially took ownership Feb. 1 of Ziggi’s Coffee at 1001 E. North St., Ste. 1, in Rapid City. To celebrate, the couple will host a New Ownership Week of Deals from March 10 through March 15, featuring daily promotions and a community giveback benefiting The Club for Boys.
For Kyle Fisher, a Rapid City native, the opportunity carries personal significance.
“I grew up working in a business built by my grandfather, and that experience shaped me,” Fisher said. “Owning Ziggi’s gives me the opportunity to build something of my own alongside my kids. They’re already excited to work here one day. It’s more than a coffee shop to us. It’s a place where we can teach ownership, hard work and community involvement as a family.”
Supporting the Club for Boys was a deliberate decision as the family steps into ownership in Rapid City.
“We feel called to support children in our community, which is why partnering with the Club for Boys was an easy decision,” Fisher said. “They create safety, mentorship and opportunity for young boys in Rapid City, and we’re proud that our first ownership celebration gives back to them.”
The Fishers said they see the café as more than a place to grab coffee.
“Ziggi’s isn’t just a coffee shop,” Fisher said. “It’s where business meetings happen, where families reconnect, where busy parents grab a moment before soccer games. We want people to feel genuinely welcome when they walk through our doors and to see Ziggi’s as part of their daily routine.”

Founded in Colorado in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Brandon and Camrin Knudsen, Ziggi’s Coffee has expanded to more than 110 locations across 23 states, with more than 200 additional stores in development.
The Fishers said they hope the weeklong event invites the Rapid City and Black Hills community to stop in, meet the team and celebrate a locally owned business investing back into South Dakota.
