Spirit Card program supports Custer High and ten other area schools with donations to clubs, scholarships, and student programs
RAPID CITY, SD — Highmark Credit Union is continuing its commitment to local classrooms through its Spirit Card program, which has returned more than $34,000 to area schools, colleges, and student groups over the past four years.
An upcoming check presentation at Custer High School will recognize the latest donation from Highmark Credit Union, delivered by Custer Market Manager Brenda Koehne and Marketing Director Kyla Wright. The presentation will celebrate another successful year of giving through Highmark’s Spirit Card partnership with Custer and ten other regional schools.
Through the Spirit Card program, Highmark members can choose from custom-designed VISA debit cards featuring local mascots and school logos. Each time the card is used, Highmark donates a portion of the proceeds to the selected school’s clubs, booster programs, or scholarship funds—at no cost to the school or the cardholder.
“This program has been an incredible way to keep funds local and support our students in a meaningful way,” said Kyla Wright, Marketing Director at Highmark Credit Union. “It’s exciting to see how something as simple as using a debit card can help make a real impact in our schools and communities.”
Celebrating 85 years of service, Highmark Credit Union remains committed to supporting education and giving back to the communities it proudly serves.
