RAPID CITY, S.D. – Midwest Wellness Institute (MWI Health), a provider of mental health and addiction services in South Dakota, is expanding its reach with a new clinic in Rapid City and additional locations planned across the Midwest.

The new Rapid City clinic, located at 2620 Jackson Blvd., is part of a broader expansion that includes upcoming sites in downtown Sioux Falls, Fargo, N.D., and future locations in Iowa, North Dakota, Nebraska and Minnesota.

With the expansion, MWI Health is adding psychiatrists, psychotherapists and other mental health professionals to the Rapid City community, offering same-week availability for patients seeking care for depression, PTSD, substance use, anxiety, ADHD and other conditions.

“Access to quality and timely care can make all the difference when someone is struggling,” said Eric TeSlaa, business development representative at MWI Health. “We’re excited not only to grow in Rapid City but to extend our services across South Dakota and into neighboring states. Our mission is to support communities with compassionate, quality care where and when they need it most.”

To celebrate the new Rapid City location, MWI Health will host an open house Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Professionals in counseling, health care, law and social services are invited to tour the clinic, enjoy free food and beverages, and learn more about the institute’s services.

Attendees are encouraged to RSVP to TeSlaa at 605-376-4655, [email protected], or online.

MWI Health’s expansion aims to address the growing demand for accessible mental health and addiction care across Rapid City, the Black Hills and the broader Midwest.

If you or someone you love is struggling, please reach out—your call could save a life.
