New to the Food Scene: 6 New Places to Eat or Drink in Rapid City

Last Updated 1 week ago

Several new food and drink options have opened in Rapid City lately. With the consistent growth the community is seeing, more are sure to follow. Here are six of the newest additions to the Rapid City dining scene.

Expanding with Espresso

  1. Southwest Rapid City brewery, Last Mile Brewery, added a new addition. Last month they opened Grounded Coffee Co. at Last Mile. The coffee shop menu features classic espresso drinks made with Dark Canyon Coffee beans. They also offer Lotus plant-based energy drinks, teas, blended drinks, boba and more. Adding the coffee shop extends the hours of the business with coffee in the morning and craft beer in the afternoon.

Two years ago, the franchise announced its entrance into North and South Dakota with restaurants in Fargo and Sioux Falls. “We have continued to focus on the Midwest for franchise development because we’ve seen how well Freddy’s has been received in the region,” said Andrew Thengvall, Chief Development Officer at Freddy’s.
